GUIDE REVLY

Share a route without publishing your entire journal

What appears on the public page, what stays in the app and how to withdraw publication.

Updated 7 October 2026

Choose one route, not your history

Web publication concerns the journey you select. It does not turn the whole journal into a public catalogue. Open Web publication in a journey’s edit screen if your version supports it.

Review the public preview

The page uses a compact trace without speeds or GPS timestamps. At least one kilometre around departure and arrival is hidden. Review intermediate stops too: endpoint masking cannot identify every private place. A short or incomplete journey may be rejected.

Review the words too

Choose a useful title and public city. Describe the outing and points of interest without adding private addresses or someone else’s contact details. The trace and text are accessible without an account.

Withdraw without deleting the memory

Withdraw from the web removes the publication rather than the original journey. The site page becomes unavailable. Search engines and people who saved a copy may retain previously shared information, so review before publishing.
