Start with the time available
Set a return time before choosing a distance. Allow time for stops and the journey home. A 100 km trace does not tell you how long the outing will take: stops and road type matter too.
Choose one main stop
On a city page, choose a viewpoint, photo location or public meetup as the focus of the outing. Add a backup stop. City-page distances are straight-line estimates; check driving time in your navigation app.
Prepare navigation separately
A map pin identifies a place. A shared route shows the path chosen by its author. Neither guarantees that every section can be used today. Check access and prepare directions in your navigation app beforehand.
Check changing information
Review weather forecasts and traffic information before leaving. For a specific venue, check its operator’s announcements too. An old photo or outing report does not confirm current access.
Keep an easy way home
Prepare a shorter alternative for delays, closed stops or changing conditions. After the outing, give your Revly journey a useful name based on the main place, season or outing type.
