GUIDE REVLY

Organise a club outing with clear information

Meeting point, timing, participation and publication: create an event people can understand.

Updated 7 October 2026

Write a self-contained event

State the purpose, date, meeting place and what to bring. Distinguish meeting time from departure time if needed. Explain where members will find the latest updates.

Agree on stops beforehand

Choose stops and regrouping points. Share directions before leaving. Plan for late arrivals and people leaving the group: a contact and a precise meeting place are more useful than improvised instructions.

Separate members from the public

Not every club event belongs on the public web. For an open outing, save the event, then use Web publication in its edit screen if supported by your Revly version. Review the location and description before confirming.

Keep updates in one place

Once published, the event title, dates, description and location name are synchronised to its web page. Participation stays in the app. Withdrawing publication removes the page while keeping the club event.

Plan for changes

Explain where changes or cancellation will be announced. Check weather and traffic, then update the event and club discussion. Do not let an old screenshot become the group’s only reference.
